Enbrel

The rheumatologist surprised me--we are skipping methotrexate and going straight for Enbrel, which is a biologic medication...sort of gives the body something else to "kill" other than itself. 

I am excited but terrified too. I have had so many other medicines that just did not help...but at least we are now with the bigger guns, so I pray we lessen some of my discomfort.

Have not been able to type for days, and I am away from my quote book--but I have been trying to read some books, and have several thoughts. Will post those later tonight if able.
