Feeling terrible today, but if one is going to the rheumatologist that is the way to go. He walked in and asked what was wrong and seemed to think I was in bad shape, considering I was slumped in the chair and leaning over onto the exam table that was probably a great guess.. Fever and everything for my appointment. He said that I may have leanings of psoriatic arthritis---the issue is with these arthritis autoimmune that they all mimic each other, so it is really a guessing game
Starting methotrexate injections on top of Enbrel injections. Hoping this makes a difference. Also can call rheumy and ask for steroids to stop the inflammation, something up to this point he was reluctant to do. Steroids are not especially good for one's body. Also not good for the waistline as they like to just add pounds.
