Went to rheumy, got the go ahead to take Enbrel anyway---the swelling was linked to the steroid use I had had. I hadn't thought of it, which made me feel stupid because it is a MAJOR side effect. The problem is....when you yourself are the patient, you don't see things.
Discussed fibromyalgia, but didn't get very far...He seemed to think I have it, but not sure if he officially thought so. My muscles hurt so much. My skin hurts! It is a little better this AM, but was making me quite ill most of yesterday. I don't want another medication, but I won't be able to stand this...so if by the start of next week it is still this bad, I will go back to the dr. Ground glass in muscles is not a pleasant feeling.
