Here's something for you to do.
I want you to try writing out your prayers. See the answers you are given. See when you were praying things that, at the time seemed right, but later seem either selfish/not godly. Thing is, you'll have to do this for some time before you can read back. I am trying to write out mine, mainly as a way to focus my attention on God as I pray, but also to see later the answers He gives out.
