This is absolute pure speculation. Anyone fascinated with Israel, and wondering, waiting and watching with clasped hands for the Voice to call, watches Israel.
The rabbis have been getting quite stirred up, claiming that the signs are there for the Messiah to come. The Sanhedrin has its red heifers, needed as a special sacrifice. They have just made the altar. The have made or are making a crown to present the king.
My own opinion is that, of course, they are waiting for the wrong Messiah. And that they will crown the one who comes to deceive. Lastly, I think the Muslim world will declare him as their leader as well, the special 12th.
Who knows but God, but it seems suspicious.
