I am still numb about my newest diagnosis. Funny how slowly everything I am most scared of is happening to me. The saying always goes that what one worries about generally doesn't happen. I seem to be one of those people that what they worry about DOES happen. I should worry about Christ's return obsessively, then, huh?
I am scared. I don't want to shut my eyes to sleep. What hours of sight am I missing when the drugged-sleep of RA swoops down on me like a dose of anesthesia? What hours of sight, reading, watching TV, seeing the glories of the creation, the glories of the world about me will I miss as I sleep?
So I am indeed a little numb. I don't know what to think.

Col 1:15-19
15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him
